Larry Ellison and my Australia idea are quite popular amongst this blog's readers

The two subjects that seem to have struck the most responsive chord to readers of the cyber privateer blog are Larry Ellison and my first-mover musing about Australia taking the lead in the war against cyber crime. Readers hail from the USA and Australia as well as France, Germany, Iran, Iraq, South Korea, Spain and the United Kingdom. Here's a map (darker color means more readers):

I still haven't gotten an answer to whether or not Australia would be in violation of The Paris Declaration of 1856 (see Wednesday, Octobner 27th) if they issued Letters of Marque and Reprisal to legalized cyber privateers. But somebody seems to be thinking along those lines. Maybe South Korea is on that wavelength too. However, Larry Ellison's doing a reprise on Tony Stark really seems to have tickled the fancy of a few readers. Maybe I'll further fill out my Cyber Privateer Fantasy League Team with other people I think could "play well" with Larry. Stay tuned.

UPDATE on 11/2/2010: We suddenly have big-time interest from Swiss, Israeli and Russian readers. Switzerland? Now there's another country worth thinking about as a cyber privateer haven.

Implementation suggestions for THE MORGAN DOCTRINE are most welcome. What are the "Got'chas!"? What questions would some future Cyber Privateering Czar have to answer about this in a Senate confirmation hearing?
