Privacy in the age of BIG DATA ANALYTICS

For those of you who think privacy is either (a) a basic right, or (b) remotely achievable, I suggest you face up to the fact that pattern based analytics is a nasty reality. Pretty much everything you do in life can be inferred and even predicted based upon data, much of which is beyond your individual control. Given that I spent the better part of the last two days with an Israeli-born ├╝bergenius to whom I am under NDA, this is all I can say on the subject for now. Except that my continuing assertion that PrivacyRights.org is just plain barking mad. Selah.
